Sydykov emphasized that the government has implemented new credit programs aimed at supporting agriculture and small and medium-sized enterprises. A social contract program has also been launched, allowing low-income individuals to start their own businesses, such as service stations, sewing workshops, and livestock farms.
Additionally, small entrepreneurs have received tax benefits, including the ability to operate at a zero tax rate, which creates more favorable conditions for their activities.
In his opinion, external factors have also influenced businesses: this year, the results for entrepreneurs varied – some earned less, while others earned more.
Sydykov also noted that the opening of the border with Tajikistan is particularly significant for entrepreneurs in the Batken region, where the economy largely depends on the functioning of border crossing points. He added, “Stable operation of crossings and open borders always support entrepreneurs.”
