In his New Year address, President Sadyr Japarov congratulated the people of Kyrgyzstan on the upcoming 2026 year.

“Dear compatriots!
Respected citizens of Kyrgyzstan!
We are soon bidding farewell to 2025, closing yet another important chapter on our path, and with hope, we open the doors to the new 2026 year.
The outgoing year has been significant — it has seen the final clarification of our country's borders and the completion of the main work on their demarcation.
Resolving border-related issues is a reliable foundation for the security and independence of our state and plays a key role in the sustainable development of Kyrgyzstan.
As the wisdom of our people says, “good deeds come to those who do them, and luck walks alongside them.”
If we once only dreamed of attracting investments, now we are at a stage where we can choose the most favorable conditions for the country.
The interest of large international investors in projects such as the railway “China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan,” the hydroelectric power station “Kambar-Ata-1,” and the tourist complex “Ala-Too Resort” confirms this.
Over the past year, Kyrgyzstan's international authority has significantly increased.
We successfully held a number of significant international events, including a meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, and established diplomatic relations with several new states.
The successful, transparent, and fair conduct of early elections to the Jogorku Kenesh has become an important political achievement, proving stability in the country.
Dear Kyrgyz citizens!
Thanks to the effective work of all branches of government and the targeted use of the budget, Kyrgyzstan has entered the top three countries with the highest GDP growth rates.
Against the backdrop of the growing role of cryptocurrencies, on December 24, a listing of the national stablecoin KGST, pegged to the Kyrgyz som at a one-to-one ratio, was carried out on one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges – Binance.
This confirms the high level of legal and institutional development in the field of virtual assets in our country.
All these achievements show that Kyrgyzstan is confidently moving towards sustainable development.
In the future, the state will continue to actively work on creating modern mechanisms for economic growth, implementing innovations, and ensuring long-term development in the interests of citizens and businesses.
