The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon congratulated the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and the entire nation on the arrival of the New Year, 2026. This was reported by the press service of the head of the Tajik state.
In his congratulatory message, Rahmon wished health, happiness, and prosperity, as well as peace, stability, and further progress to the fraternal people of the Kyrgyz Republic.
He noted that in 2025, relations between the two countries continued to strengthen and develop, as evidenced by new joint initiatives aimed at the welfare of the peoples of both states.
The President of Tajikistan expressed hope that in the coming year, 2026, cooperation between the states would become even more fruitful and substantive.
Rahmon also emphasized the importance of a trusting dialogue between the two countries, based on their fundamental interests, in his congratulatory telegram.
