On the occasion of Customs Service Workers' Day of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, congratulated the employees and veterans of the customs service, as reported by the Cabinet's press office. In his congratulatory message, Kasymaliev emphasized the important role of customs authorities in ensuring the economic security of the country, protecting national interests, and filling the state budget. He noted that in recent years, the customs service has undergone significant changes, transitioning to modern administration models and reducing administrative barriers for honest entrepreneurs. The head of the cabinet also highlighted that digital transformation and the implementation of new information technologies have significantly accelerated customs procedures and increased the efficiency of border crossing points. Kasymaliev also pointed out the significant contribution of the customs service to budget revenues. The projected income for 2025 is 151.7 billion soms, however, as of December 30, 156.6 billion soms had already been recorded, exceeding the planned figures. In conclusion of his address, he expressed gratitude to the veterans of the customs service and wished all employees health, success in their work, and further achievements for the benefit of the country.
