During the 11 months of 2025, 54.4 thousand foreigners and stateless persons were expelled, the agency indicates in its report.

For comparison, during the same period in 2024, the number of expulsions amounted to 79 thousand people.

The highest number of deportations was observed in 2024, which was associated with tightened control following the terrorist attack at "Crocus City Hall" on March 22.

It should be noted that two years ago, changes were made to the rules of migration control. Since February 5, 2025, decisions on the expulsion of foreigners for violations of entry and stay rules, as well as for illegal labor activity, are now made by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, rather than the courts.

According to the data, more than half of the expelled migrants leave the country voluntarily, while the rest are deported by bailiffs, who transport them to the state border.
