According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, starting from December 31, 2025, government resolution No. 855 will come into effect, which changes the rules for visa-free entry for citizens of 55 foreign countries.
This innovation is aimed at simplifying migration processes, improving the conditions for the stay of foreign citizens, and aligning national legislation with the state migration policy.
According to the new rules, citizens of the specified countries can stay in the territory of Kyrgyzstan without a visa, without the need to obtain any permit documents, for a total of up to 30 days within every 60 days from the date of entry.
After this period, foreigners must either leave the country or obtain the necessary documents, such as a visa, residence permit, or temporary stay permit, in accordance with the legislation.
It should be noted that these changes do not affect international agreements that may provide for different conditions for entry and stay. They also do not apply to those entering Kyrgyzstan for work, study, or other activities that require special permits.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged foreign citizens and those hosting them to take the new rules into account when planning trips and to strictly adhere to the established stay periods.
