Among the companies affected by the restrictive measures are the defense contractor Northrop Grumman and a Boeing division located in St. Louis. The PRC clarified that the individuals on the sanctions list hold high positions in these companies.
According to information, all assets of the affected companies and individuals located in China will be frozen. Organizations and citizens of China are prohibited from doing business with them, and the individuals on the list will not be able to enter the country.
It is worth noting that in mid-December, the U.S. administration approved the largest arms supply package to Taiwan, amounting to $11.1 billion, which includes HIMARS rocket systems, Javelin anti-tank missiles, Altius drones, howitzers, and various components for military equipment.
China considers Taiwan to be its rebellious province and rejects any official ties between the island and other countries, perceiving this as a threat to its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
