Among the companies on the sanctions list are Northrop Grumman and Boeing's St. Louis division. China has taken measures by freezing their assets within the country and prohibiting local companies and citizens from interacting with these organizations, as well as restricting entry into China for the specified individuals.
Recall that in early December, the USA approved a package of arms supplies to Taiwan worth $11.1 billion, which includes HIMARS systems, Javelin missiles, Altius drones, and howitzers. For China, Taiwan is part of its territory, and any official relations with the island are viewed as a threat to national sovereignty.
