
According to Nokia, issues related to internet infrastructure concern not only latency and speed but also questions of digital sovereignty. In Europe, 86% of companies express doubts about the ability of existing networks to handle the scaling of AI, while 78% are worried that infrastructure limitations could slow down the development of AI projects.
In the United States, similar concerns are shared by 88% of surveyed companies and telecom operators, who also speak about the risks associated with the growth of AI. Almost a third of European enterprises fear that underdeveloped infrastructure will force them to relocate AI systems outside the region.
