On December 29, 2025, a meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic was held, chaired by Zheenbek Kulubaev.
The agenda included the results of Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship in the CSTO for 2025, as well as discussions on ways to further strengthen multilateral cooperation within this organization.
In addition, the participants of the meeting reviewed the implementation of the President's decree dated September 19, 2024, No. 268, concerning the optimization of migration processes. Information was presented on new legislative initiatives, as well as specific measures aimed at regulating the migration flow and legalizing the stay of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Minister Kulubaev voiced a number of recommendations aimed at improving Kyrgyzstan's foreign policy course in the context of regional cooperation, as well as further developing migration processes in line with national interests.
