In the KR, the rules for recruitment and selection of personnel in law enforcement agencies have been changed

The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has approved new rules regarding the recruitment and admission of personnel to law enforcement agencies. This decision is aimed at improving personnel policy and increasing the effectiveness of the criminal enforcement system.

According to the new regulations, the rules for conducting competitions and forming a personnel reserve have been updated. Among the changes:


Additionally, the list of positions for which individuals over 35 years old can apply upon initial entry into service has been expanded. This applies to specialists in areas such as:


For these candidates, age limits have been established (up to 40, 45, and 47 years respectively), and a minimum of five years of professional experience is required. In some cases, employment under a contract in accordance with the Labor Code may be possible.

Furthermore, the new list of positions for which competitive selection is not required has been expanded to include specialists in the field of construction.

The government noted that the implementation of this resolution will occur within the framework of the approved staffing levels and budget of the republic.

The resolution will come into effect in a week.
