The Russian authorities named the risks of attracting labor migrants from Afghanistan

Russia's special representative for Afghanistan, Zamir Kabulov, noted that a massive influx of labor migrants from Afghanistan is impossible due to the risks associated with the potential presence of radicals among the workers. Currently, there are no effective mechanisms for controlling migration.

Earlier, the Afghan ambassador to Russia, Hassan Gul Hassan, told RIA Novosti that Kabul is negotiating with Russian authorities about the possibility of attracting Afghan citizens to work in agriculture. However, no specific agreements on this issue have been reached yet.

Kabulov emphasized: "We need a filter and regulation. We cannot simply open the doors to a large number of people whom we cannot control. At the moment, we have no guarantees or functioning mechanisms." This statement was made in response to questions about the prospects of attracting labor migrants from Afghanistan to Russia.
