Starting from January 1, 2026, law enforcement agencies in Kyrgyzstan will cease conducting unreasonable inspections, aimed at creating a reliable legal environment for investors and entrepreneurs. This was announced at a press conference by Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Promotion Agency.
According to Sabirov, the new direction implies the implementation of clear and protected rights for investors, which includes the protection of investment guarantees, the expansion of public-private partnership opportunities, and flexible mechanisms for transaction arrangements.
“Investors should have access to clear processes, transparent decisions, and effective support at all stages of their project implementation, starting from the first inquiry. We aim to implement modern and effective mechanisms by studying the best global practices and developing the 'single window' principle,” he noted.
Ravshanbek Sabirov added that Kyrgyzstan has one of the most liberal and competitive tax systems and customs preferences in Central Asia, significantly improving the conditions for doing business and attracting investments.
He also emphasized that a unified registry of investors has been created and electronic commerce is actively used, allowing for the prompt and transparent registration of projects and tracking their status. For the first time, a platform for open dialogue between the government, business, and investors on the issues of protecting their rights has been organized. “As part of this initiative, we, together with the General Prosecutor's Office, held meetings with business associations to discuss all raised issues and problems in order to find specific and effective solutions,” added the head of the National Agency.
