
The cargo did not meet phytosanitary standards
According to the information from the Department of Chemicalization, Plant Protection, and Quarantine of the Kyrgyz Republic, on January 7, 2026, a shipment of potatoes from Russia was inspected at the consolidated post located near the "Ak-Tilek" border crossing with Kazakhstan. During the inspection, violations of phytosanitary requirements were identified.
In accordance with paragraph 3.7 of the "Regulations on the Procedure for Carrying Out Quarantine Phytosanitary Control (Supervision) on the Customs Territory of the Eurasian Economic Union," and due to the absence of a phytosanitary certificate, this cargo was returned to the sender.
