According to information provided by the state district administration, after crossing the border of Kyrgyzstan, the cement was loaded in excess of the permissible norms. According to the accompanying documents, the maximum weight of the vehicle with cargo should not exceed 43 tons. However, the inspection revealed that the actual overload amounted to 35 tons and 22 kilograms.
As a result of the violation, an administrative case was initiated against LLP "Kortsëm" [a dealer of the Korday Cement Plant located in the Zhambyl region] under Article 181, Part 1 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to non-compliance with weight and dimensional standards for vehicles and requirements for ensuring road safety.
The company LLP "Kortsëm" was fined 55,000 soms. Additionally, for damage to the road surface, a fine of 70 soms was imposed for each ton of overload.
According to the akimat, the cargo was intended for a Chinese company located in Kazakhstan.
