According to information from the akimat, the commission under the district administration decided to close the market due to non-compliance with the sanitary-veterinary and sanitary-hygienic standards established by the government decree of June 18, 2015, No. 377 "On the approval of priority veterinary and sanitary requirements for the prevention of animal diseases".
During the inspection, the following violations were discovered:
- non-compliance with sanitary norms;
- the conditions for keeping and selling livestock do not meet the established requirements;
- creation of a threat to the safety of both citizens and the environment.
According to information from the district administration, a land plot is planned to be allocated in 2026 for the construction of a new municipal livestock market, which will fully comply with all current sanitary, veterinary, and technical requirements. The new market will provide all necessary conditions for the sale of livestock in accordance with sanitary norms.
The Moscow District State Administration, in cooperation with relevant services, is monitoring illegal livestock trading and enhancing informational work with the population, warning about possible measures of liability for violators of the law.
Citizens are urged to understand the temporary measures and to conduct livestock trading only in permitted and legal places.
