According to available data, the incident occurred in the afternoon. The serviceman, born in 2007, A. A. N., was serving in the fifth security battalion located in the village of Bai-Munduz. While on duty at correctional facility No. 10, for reasons yet to be determined, he shot himself with his service weapon.
The scene was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the State Penal Execution Service - Head of the Department of Security and Convoying, Kurmanbek Sokeev, as well as representatives from the Bazar-Korgon District Department of Internal Affairs and the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Jalal-Abad garrison.
