The expansion of Saint Petersburg Street in the city of Osh has begun, as reported by the press service of the city administration.
As part of the project initiated by Mayor Zhenishbek Toktorbaev, preparatory work for the reconstruction of the street has already commenced.
The upcoming modernization includes the renewal of the road surface over a length of 2040 meters with a planned expansion of the street to 26 meters, which is expected to increase the capacity of this section.
In connection with the implementation of the project, it is anticipated that adjacent areas will be cleared. Owners of buildings that obstruct the expansion have already begun voluntary demolition of their structures.
