In Manas, work has begun on the dismantling of the railway, as reported by the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The dismantling of the railway track is taking place on the section between Jalal-Abad and Kok-Jangak, from km 406 to 421. Specifically, the work is being carried out on the segment from Bayzakov Avenue in Manas to Ormon Biya Street in Oktyabrsky.
Representatives of the ministry noted that the last train passed through this section in 1998, and since then the railway has not been used.
The completion of the dismantling work is scheduled for February 1, after which the construction of a new highway will begin in place of the old railway.
