Recently, a video surfaced on social media showing a man in the uniform of the municipal inspection of Bishkek behaving inappropriately: he was allegedly drinking alcohol, spitting, and relieving himself in a public place.
Users pointed out that the inspector himself violated the norms that he is supposed to uphold.
The head of the municipal inspection, Mirlan Talaibekov, also known by the surname Tsarikaev, promptly responded to the incident. Initially, he promised to conduct a legal assessment of the employee's actions, and then he published a video and a message on his Instagram stating that the "hero" of the video had been fired.
“The employee who violated professional ethics and thereby undermined the authority of our service has been dismissed. I remind you that we are obligated to maintain order and be an example for society. I do not intend to deviate from my principles,” he noted.
