The UPSM of the Bishkek City Police Department responded to a video that appeared on social media, showing a municipal inspector violating public behavior norms.
“K. U. B. and I. R. B., both born in 1975, were detained and taken to the Lenin District Police Department of Bishkek for further investigation. Based on the collected materials, their case has been referred to the court, where it will be examined in light of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding petty hooliganism,” the press service clarified.
It should be noted that the video shows a man in a municipal inspector's uniform, who, in the company of another man, was drinking alcohol, relieving himself, and spitting in a public place. It was later revealed that he indeed works for the municipal inspection, and his dismissal was announced by the head of the agency, Mirlan Taalaibekov, also known as Tsarikaev.
