At the ski resort "Karakol," there was an unplanned stoppage of the cable car that lasted nearly an hour. According to eyewitnesses, the cause of the incident was a power outage, as reported by readers of Kaktus.media.

One of the skiers, who was left suspended, shared: "We've been on the cable car for 30 minutes because the power is out and nothing is working. We're just hanging here."

In the video, staff members of the ski complex can be seen trying to resolve the issue at the base of the cable car poles. Preliminary reports indicate that no vacationers were harmed.

It is worth noting that videos and photos of long queues at the cable cars at the ski resorts in Karakol soon appeared on social media.

In response to the wave of discussions online, the administration of the "Karakol" resort denied the information about the prolonged stoppage of the cable car. They stated that the stoppage actually lasted only 5-10 minutes and occurred due to a safety sensor being triggered. "In accordance with safety regulations, a mandatory check was conducted, after which the cable car operation was resumed. Short-term stoppages can occur for various reasons, including wind, voltage fluctuations, and sensor triggers. This is a standard safety procedure," the official statement emphasizes.
