The major renovation of the kindergarten "Aidanek" in Osh has been completed, and it is now ready to welcome children again. This was reported by the city's administration.
The opening was attended by Mayor Jenishbek Toktorbaev, Chairman of the City Council Bolot Bayetov, as well as local authorities and parents who had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the updated conditions in the kindergarten.
It is worth noting that the country's president, Sadyr Japarov, officially put the building into operation online during the People's Kurultai.
The kindergarten, designed for 370 places, was previously in poor condition, which created difficulties for its operation. At the mayor's initiative, a complete renovation of the facility was carried out. Now it features modern amenities, new playgrounds, gazebos, and benches.
In addition, illegal structures on the kindergarten's territory were removed, which allowed for the return of 12 acres of land to the institution.
"Construction began in September 2025 and was completed in December. The renovated kindergarten 'Aidanek' will accommodate 670 children," the city administration added.
