At the K. Abdrayimov Secondary School, located in the village of Soku-Tash, a major renovation has finally been completed, marking the first such update since the institution opened in 1959.

As reported by Turmush correspondent, local residents note that the building had needed serious updating for many years.

Since its opening, the school has faced numerous issues: the building changed its roof twice, but otherwise required a major overhaul. The condition of the windows and doors left much to be desired, and the heating system struggled with the cold, forcing students to dress warmly in winter.

The school principal, Tursunay Zupanova, reported that the renovation work began in the spring of this year and was completed just before the new school year, allowing students to return to the updated building.

According to her, "The school was in critical condition and was in dire need of repairs. We often touched up the walls, but that only temporarily solved the problem. The floors had rotted, and the doors in the classrooms did not close properly. The heating only worked in the classrooms, and there was none in the hallway. The classrooms are large, and the previous system could not provide sufficient warmth. We extended the heating to the hallways and built a boiler room. Now the school is comfortable and bright, and the territory is fully fenced."

More than 27 million soms were allocated from the republican budget for the major renovation of the institution, and the work was carried out by the company "Asema".
