In Karakol, there is a building that has served an important cultural function for over a hundred years. Currently, it houses the Issyk-Kul Regional Center for Children's and Youth Creativity, as reported by the city administration.

Although the exact date of its construction remains unknown, its history clearly exceeds the century mark, considering the significant events associated with it.

According to local legends, between 1883 and 1888, N.M. Przhevalsky, a famous traveler and explorer, allegedly stayed in this house during his visits to Karakol. Teachers in our city have passed this story down from generation to generation, although it is not precisely known whether Przhevalsky lived here or simply visited as a guest. Originally, the building belonged to a hunter, which is why it earned the popular name "Hunter's House."

Over time, this building became the city court, and since 1992, it has been functioning as the regional center for children's and youth creativity, continuing to play a significant public role.

Thus, this structure represents not only architectural value but also serves as a keeper of the historical memory of the city of Karakol, symbolizing its cultural heritage," the message notes.

As of today, 452 children are enrolled in the Issyk-Kul Regional Center for Children's and Youth Creativity. There are 18 clubs operating here, including an early development school, dance classes, komuz, decorative arts, a "Young Tourists" club, fine arts, financial literacy, English lessons, stagecraft, a leadership school, mental arithmetic, and others.
