From January 22 to 24, Uzbekistan will face a cold and humid air front, according to a warning from Uzhydromet.
Precipitation is expected across the country during the night of January 22 and the morning of January 23, mainly in the form of snow, which will lead to the formation of ice on the roads in some areas.
In the foothills and mountainous regions of the country, snowfalls, some of which may be intense, will also be observed on January 22-23.
In certain areas, the wind may strengthen to 15-20 m/s, with gusts in some places reaching 22-25 m/s.
Throughout these three days, the air temperature will drop: at night to -3…-8°C, and during the day it will fluctuate from -3 to +2°C. In the northern regions, the temperature at night may drop to -12…-15°C, while during the day it will be within -2…-5°C.
