As of January 20, the National Bank announced the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Kyrgyz som. According to the update:
The exchange rate of the US dollar (USD) remains at 87.4500 soms;
The euro (EUR) is valued at 101.6694 soms;
The Russian ruble (RUB) is 1.1184 soms;
The Kazakh tenge (KZT) is equal to 0.1716 soms;
The Chinese yuan (CNY) costs 12.5584 soms.
In commercial banks, the US dollar is bought on average for 87.38 soms and sold for 87.81 soms.
As for the Russian ruble, its average purchase price is 1.11 soms, while the sale price is 1.13 soms.
