Roman took 5th place at the Asian Championship in Bishkek

At the Asian Wrestling Championship held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstani Roman Kim finished his performances in fifth place.

The competition started on April 6, and Roman competed in Greco-Roman wrestling in the 130 kg category.

In his first match, he won against a Mongolian wrestler, but in the quarterfinals, he faced an Iranian athlete who is the champion of Asia and the world, and he lost to him.

On April 7, Roman Kim wrestled for the bronze medal against Kim Minsok from Korea.

Unfortunately, the Kyrgyzstani was unable to secure a victory, and the Korean wrestler won the bronze medal.

On the same day, his compatriots Aftandil Talaibek uulu, Akjol Mahmudov, and Asan Janishov won gold medals, while Ulan Muratbek uulu also failed to win in the bronze match and took 5th place.
