From January 29 to February 1, two ice climbing tournaments were held at the Malbun ski resort in Liechtenstein – the UIAA Youth Ice Climbing World Championship. Details are provided by MiddleAsianNews.

At the recently concluded Youth Ice Climbing World Championship in Malbun, the Mongolian team was recognized for its achievements, winning awards in the "speed" category among girls. These competitions provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the outstanding skills of young athletes.

Athletes from seven countries won gold medals at these competitions: USA (2), Switzerland (4), Spain (2), Mongolia (1), United Kingdom (1), Czech Republic (1), and Liechtenstein (1). The event was made possible in picturesque winter conditions thanks to the support of the Liechtenstein Alpine Club, an association that is part of the UIAA. Malbun has previously hosted UIAA championships, including the European Cup in 2022.
