Ivan Yarygin Cup. Dilnaz Sazanova will compete for the gold medal

At the international wrestling tournament Ivan Yarygin Cup, which is taking place in Russia, Kyrgyz athlete Dilnaz Sazanova has made it to the finals.

Dilnaz competes in the category up to 62 kilograms, where 16 athletes are participating.

In her first match in the 1/8 finals, she won against her compatriot Akylai Chynybayeva. Then, in the quarterfinals, she managed to defeat the Russian athlete Anastasia Sidelnikova. To reach the finals, she faced another representative from Russia — Ekaterina Oleinikova — and also emerged victorious.

Now Dilnaz Sazanova is set to compete for the gold medal against an opponent from North Korea.
