Schoolchildren of Kyrgyzstan won two gold, three silver, and six bronze medals at the International Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science

The national team of schoolchildren from Kyrgyzstan performed successfully at the XXII International Zhautykov Olympiad, held in Almaty from January 10 to 15, 2026 (IZhO2026), winning two gold, three silver, and six bronze medals.

More than 600 schoolchildren from 16 countries participated in this competition, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Russia, Romania, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Indonesia, India, and Uzbekistan. Kyrgyzstan was represented by 33 participants.

The following students received awards in various categories:

1. Ariet Akimov, 8th grade, “Gazprom Kyrgyzstan” — gold medal in mathematics.

2. Arlan Sayat, 8th grade, “Gazprom Kyrgyzstan” — gold medal in mathematics.

Coaches: Mamat Ishmatov, Bekzhol uulu Zholdubai.

3. Daniyar Akimkanov, MOE “Sapat” — bronze medal in mathematics.

Coach: Susarbek Baibayev.

1. Yan Bobrus, 10th grade, “Gazprom Kyrgyzstan” School — silver medal in computer science.

2. Ali Arapov, 10th grade, Seitek STEM — silver medal in computer science.

3. Adilkhan Kadyrov, MOE “Sapat” — bronze medal in mathematics.

4. Ramazan Mananov, 10th grade, Seitek STEM – bronze medal in computer science.

5. Abdullakhan Abdirasulov, 10th grade, Seitek STEM – bronze medal in computer science.
