LLC "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan" restores correct data transmission from gas meters with telemetry
During October and November 2025, there were issues with the transmission of readings from some gas meters installed at users' premises. Due to the lack of necessary data, the billing for gas during this period was based on available information, which led to errors in the invoices.
However, in December, all meters re-established communication, allowing for the collection of accumulated readings, including data from the period of disruptions. As a result, in the December bills, the amount charged for some consumers was higher than expected, as it included actual consumption for almost two months, which caused justified dissatisfaction among clients. Therefore, the company deemed it necessary to provide clarifications.
Currently, the technical issues have been resolved, and data transmission from gas meters is being carried out in full and without interruptions. Charges for January and subsequent months will be made exclusively based on actual readings.
The company also emphasizes that the gas meters themselves are functioning properly. All devices have undergone state verification, are included in the State Register of Measuring Instruments, and comply with all established requirements for accuracy and reliability. The problem that arose earlier was not related to the quality of the measuring devices, but to the specifics of processing telemetry data.
LLC "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan" apologizes for the inconvenience caused and expresses gratitude to subscribers for their understanding. The company continues to work on improving the quality and reliability of remote natural gas consumption accounting systems.
If subscribers have questions regarding billing or technical information, they can contact the call center of LLC "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan" at 4444 (calls from mobile phones are free).
