Serious discrepancies with safety requirements have been identified at winter tourist bases.
This information was provided by the Emergency Situations Department of the Osh region.
According to the agency's data, checks were conducted at the popular ski bases of Chiyrchyq and Taldyk, located in the Kara-Suu district, as part of preparations for the winter tourist season of 2025–2026.
The inspections were organized by employees of the Kara-Suu district department of the Emergency Situations Ministry.
As a result of the raid, several serious violations were recorded. In particular, the following were found at the ski bases:
absence of medical points;
lack of specialists capable of providing first aid;
insufficient number of certified rescuers;
non-compliance with fire safety regulations;
violations of safety rules when using gas cylinders in public establishments.
Explanatory talks were held with the administrations of the bases, employees, and vacationers regarding the importance of adhering to safety rules based on the identified violations.
The Emergency Situations Ministry emphasized that work to improve the situation will continue.
Asanbek Mamyrayimov, head of the Osh regional department of ecological and technical control, reported on recommendations for replacing gas cylinders.
“Ahead of the New Year, a meeting was held with the participation of the first deputy representative of the president in Osh. At that time, we proposed using safe, specially prepared cylinders instead of automotive ones. We are only responsible for the attractions and do not control the cylinders. If violations are identified in our area of responsibility, we will take appropriate measures,” Mamyrayimov noted.
