In the Chiyrchyq area of the Osh region, tubing has become a popular form of recreation. However, according to the vacationers themselves, this entertainment poses a health risk.

According to data from the Osh Interregional Combined Clinical Hospital, most of the injured who ended up in the medical facility presented with injuries to their upper and lower limbs. "On January 2, three people came from the tubing site in Chiyrchyq. There were no reports in the previous days. One of them suffered a broken arm, another a broken collarbone, and the third a dislocated arm. All received outpatient care and were then sent home. Usually, admissions are related to fractures of arms and legs," the hospital reported.

Many vacationers who took advantage of tubing at the summer pasture leave negative reviews on social media, pointing out poor conditions and a lack of safety measures. One user wrote: "My friend has a broken femur and will soon need surgery. People who come with a tour are seated two on one tube. One tube for two is not enough, and this leads to injuries. More attention needs to be paid to safety issues."

Other comments regarding adherence to safety rules while resting in Chiyrchyq are also appearing online.

Experts emphasize that most injuries occur due to the disregard for simple safety measures. In their opinion, there needs to be oversight by qualified instructors on tubing and ice tracks. However, in regions where tubing takes place, people often work without the necessary training, which jeopardizes the safety of vacationers.

According to local residents, during the New Year holidays, the number of tourists visiting the Chiyrchyq summer pasture for tubing and recreation ranged from 1,000 to 2,000 people.
