According to the information from the department, two sets of twins were born at the Jalal-Abad Interregional Combined Clinical Hospital, one set at the Bishkek City Perinatal Center, and one set at the Osh City Maternity Hospital.
From 8:00 AM on December 31 to 8:00 AM on January 1, 177 boys and 190 girls were born, of which nine were delivered by cesarean section.
Between 12:00 AM and 12:10 AM on January 1, 11 children were born: six boys and five girls. The first newborn of 2026 was a girl weighing 3.915 kilograms, who was born at the Issyk-Ata Center for General Medical Practice exactly at midnight.
