In the Alisher Navoi Park in Osh, the attraction where a tragedy occurred last year—when a minor girl fell—has resumed operation.
According to park visitors, the attraction called "Boat" reopened to the public on December 31, 2025.
Asanbek Mamyrayimov, head of the Osh regional office of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, reported that additional inspections will be conducted at the site of the incident.
He also added that more detailed information will be provided based on the results of these inspections.
Recall that on September 21, 2025, an incident occurred in Navoi Park when a minor girl fell from the attraction and died on the spot. According to the ambulance service, the tragedy happened around 1:30 PM, and the medics who arrived at the scene confirmed the absence of vital signs in the girl.
Furthermore, in April 2024, the issue of several attractions in city parks operating without the necessary technical inspections was discussed at a meeting of the Osh city council. During the discussion, the need to strengthen control over compliance with safety measures was also emphasized.
