Illegal fishing nets discovered and seized at Issyk-Kul



On January 4, the regional office of the Ecology and Technical Supervision Service for the Issyk-Kul region, together with the tourist-ecological police, conducted a raid. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision.

As a result of the activities, instances of illegal fishing were identified, during which Chinese synthetic nets totaling 1,100 meters in length were seized from the water bodies.

The aim of such raids is to protect biological resources, prevent poaching, and ensure ecological safety.

The Ministry also stated its intention to continue conducting raids against poachers.
