In an online format, the Ministry of Internal Affairs held a meeting dedicated to the results of the activities of internal affairs agencies for the year 2025 and measures to ensure public safety during the New Year holidays.
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Ulan Niyazbekov, noted that thanks to the implementation of digital technologies and video surveillance systems, it was possible to prevent about 6,000 crimes and offenses this year, as well as apprehend approximately 1,000 wanted individuals.
During the meeting, the head of the agency emphasized the need to strengthen preventive measures against offenses, combat domestic violence, as well as ensure road safety and prevent driving under the influence of alcohol during the holiday season.
According to him, the key task of the internal affairs agencies is to ensure a calm and safe conduct of New Year events.
