
From January 1 to January 9, 2026, during the New Year holidays, medical institutions will operate as usual with responsible staff on duty. Round-the-clock emergency care will be provided, a reserve of beds will be formed for those in need of urgent treatment, and the availability of necessary medical supplies and blood component stocks will be guaranteed.
At the outpatient level, in family medicine centers and general practice, from January 1 to January 9, family doctors and nurses will be on duty from 08:00 to 18:00, and the work of procedural rooms will continue until 14:00.
The ambulance service in Bishkek, Osh, and other regions will operate around the clock without days off. Continuous operation of air ambulance services and the duty of specialists from the sanitary-epidemiological service and laboratories will also be ensured during the holidays.
The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic assures that medical assistance will be provided promptly and in full during the New Year holidays. Citizens are urged not to delay seeking medical care if needed.
