The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the schedule for medical institutions during the holiday period. To ensure the availability of medical services, from December 30 to 31, 2025, all medical organizations in the country will operate in an enhanced mode. During these days, additional duty shifts for medical personnel will be organized, and services will be ready to provide emergency and urgent care without interruption. From January 1 to 9, 2026, during the New Year holidays, medical institutions will operate according to the standard schedule, with responsible staff assigned for duty shifts. Round-the-clock emergency care will be provided, and a reserve of beds for patients requiring emergency hospitalization will be established. In addition, medical institutions will be supplied with necessary medications and medical products. At the level of outpatient care, family medicine centers and other medical institutions will have on-duty family doctors and nurses from January 1 to 9, as well as reception desks operating from 08:00 to 18:00. Procedure rooms will be open until 14:00. The ambulance service in Bishkek and Osh, as well as in other regions of the country, will operate around the clock without days off. Continuous operation of air ambulance services and duty of specialists from the sanitary-epidemiological service and laboratories will also be ensured during the holidays. The Ministry of Health emphasizes that medical assistance will be provided qualitatively and promptly during the New Year holidays, urging citizens to seek help if necessary.
