According to information received from the agency, the aim of this activity was to prevent accidents related to firearms.
“During the raid, police checked registered gun owners for the presence of the necessary documents for storage and carrying, as well as the conditions in which the firearms are kept,” the press service noted.
Additionally, law enforcement explained to citizens who own firearms the importance of complying with legislation, the inadmissibility of using firearms in conflict situations, as well as measures to prevent domestic violence and other incidents. During the event, informational leaflets were distributed, and citizens were advised to contact the internal affairs authorities if necessary,” the statement added.
