In the Moscow district of the Chui region, the livestock market has resumed operations after being temporarily closed.

It is known that the livestock market in the village of Belovodsk has been functioning on Sundays for many years. However, on December 28, 2022, it was closed. Local authorities explained this decision by stating that the market, located at Lomonosov Street, 1, did not meet veterinary and sanitary requirements. Citing the government decree from June 18, 2015, No. 377, they prohibited the operation of this market and the sale of agricultural animals on its territory.

Despite the ban, villagers organized a new livestock market in an open area. In this regard, today, January 4, representatives of the district state administration, the rural council of Narzan, the veterinary service, and the internal affairs department conducted explanatory work with the sellers.
Local residents addressed the authorities with the question: “Why was the livestock market closed? Only residents of our district trade here. We cannot afford to pay 500 soms for transportation and take sheep and goats to the market in the Sokuluk district. We ask for permission to sell animals until the new market opens,” they commented on the situation.
