Tokmak's mayor, Altynbek Ergeshov, announced at a meeting with traders that modern multifunctional facilities will be built instead of the existing livestock market.
The new livestock market will be located away from major transport routes and residential areas. This is due to the fact that the current conditions do not meet sanitary, veterinary, and urban planning standards, the mayor noted.
“The site where the livestock market is currently located has significant potential for the city's development. We plan to attract investors here, including foreign ones,” added Ergeshov.
It is worth noting that earlier the presidential representative in the Chui region, Azamat Osmonov, criticized the working conditions at this market.
