Inspectors of the ecological oversight agency of the Talas region, together with employees of the Bakai-Ata District Police Department, conducted raids on December 24 aimed at combating violations in the field of environmental protection.

According to the press service of the ecological oversight agency, during the inspections, a case of illegal hunting was established: a local resident S. u. M. used a 16-gauge hunting rifle No. XN 7773 to shoot one partridge without the necessary permits.

For this offense, the man was fined 12,500 soms in accordance with Article 263 of the Code of Offenses (Violation of Hunting Rules). In addition, he was sued for 2,000 soms for causing damage to wildlife.

The hunter's weapon was temporarily confiscated by the employees of the Bakai-Ata District Police Department for further investigation.

Furthermore, as part of the raids, inspectors monitored the situation regarding illegal logging, the harvesting and sale of Christmas trees, compliance with hunting regulations, and the prevention of illegal fishing.
