In the run-up to the New Year holidays, when there is an increase in the number of passengers and instances of unjustified price hikes for taxis, the head of the Patrol Police Department (UPSM) Borborbek Tashmatov held a meeting with taxi drivers. This conversation was aimed at warning drivers about the necessity of adhering to the law and the unacceptability of raising fares.

The press service of the department reports that Tashmatov emphasized that drivers should work honestly and care for the interests of citizens. He also highlighted that transportation should be carried out safely and without creating tension among the population during the holiday season.

The UPSM plans to continue its preventive and explanatory work, as well as take measures against those drivers who violate current legislation.
