During the last month of autumn 2025, the number of refugees from Ukraine in the EU increased by 30 thousand.
The largest number of refugees was accepted by Germany, which supported 1 million 241 thousand people, followed by Poland with 968 thousand 750 and the Czech Republic with 392 thousand 670.
In the United Kingdom, which is not part of the EU and was not included in Eurostat data, around 230 thousand Ukrainians found refuge.
Eurostat also notes that after the decision by Ukrainian authorities in August 2025 to allow free exit for men aged 18 to 22, the number of those who received temporary protection status in the EU sharply increased in September and October, but in November it returned to previous levels.
