According to data presented by Time magazine, the number of casualties from the protests in Iran may exceed 200, as confirmed by a doctor from Tehran. Official information from the country's authorities is absent.

Despite internet restrictions, videos of the protests continue to emerge online, presumably transmitted via Starlink satellite communication. The footage shows large-scale unrest in Tehran: flames engulf residential buildings and religious structures, including the Al-Rasul mosque in the northwest of the capital.

According to the videos, in the Saadat-Abad area, demonstrators are chanting slogans against the country's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, while fires can be seen in the surroundings. There are also reports of arson targeting residential buildings in the Narmak area in northeastern Tehran, accompanied by gunfire and screams.

As reported by the Associated Press, protests have also been noted in other cities in Iran, such as Mashhad, Tabriz, and Qom. Iranian expatriate television channels are showing footage of the use of force by law enforcement agencies.

The human rights organization Iran Human Rights (IHRNGO) reports that hundreds of people have been injured, and the actual number of fatalities may be significantly higher than the figures that have already been announced. Time magazine cites a doctor from Tehran who stated that at least 217 fatalities have been registered in six hospitals in the capital, most of whom suffered fatal injuries from gunfire. However, this data cannot be independently verified.

Earlier, Ali Khamenei called on security forces to suppress the protests harshly, and the head of Iran's judiciary, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, stated that participants in the demonstrations would be punished "ruthlessly and without legal leniency."
