Tabaldiev achieved three consecutive victories over opponents from Turkey and reached the final, where he faced Islam Dudayev, the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Paris, representing Albania.
In the decisive match, Zalkarbek won with a score of 7:4, claiming the gold medal. It is worth noting that he is the current champion of Kyrgyzstan.
It should also be mentioned that his compatriot Rustam Kaharov, who competed in the same weight category, won the bronze medal.
Earlier, the gold medal in the Yasar Dogu tournament in the weight category up to 65 kilograms went to Kyrgyzstani Bilol Sharip uulu.
