Mongolia was represented at the tournament by 14 athletes, six of whom returned with medals. In particular, Mungunshagai Enkhbold became the silver medalist in the weight category up to 96 kg, while Unenhuu Enkhjin won a similar award in the category up to 120 kg. Last year, he won a gold medal in Cambodia, where the Mongolian anthem was played in his honor. Although he reached the finals again this year, he received a silver medal, making him a two-time medalist at the Asian Championship.

In the women's category up to 49 kg, the bronze medal was won by Enkhjin Narantör. Among the men, bronze medals were awarded to Adyyaa Altangerel (65 kg), Purevbaatar Bat-Olzii (77 kg), and Dashnyam A. (85 kg), which allowed the Mongolian flag to be raised over Luzhou.

This championship, organized by the Asian Mixed Martial Arts Federation, also serves as a qualifying stage for the 20th Asian Summer Games, which will be held in Aichi-Nagoya in 2026, as well as for the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Riyadh in the same year.
