In Antalya (Turkey), the international freestyle wrestling tournament Yasar Dogu -2026 has concluded. According to the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kyrgyz athletes won a total of 7 medals: 2 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze. The gold medals were awarded to Bilol Sharip uulu in the 65 kg weight category and Zalkarbek Tabaldiev in the 70 kg category. Silver was won by Oskonbay Abdisamatov (65 kg) and Malik Shavaev (86 kg), while bronze medals went to Bayaman Kerimbekov (57 kg), Rustamzhan Kaharov (70 kg), and Adilet Maratbaev (79 kg).
It should be noted that the Kyrgyzstan team took 2nd place in the overall team standings. The tournament named after Yasar Dogu, Vehbi Emre, and Hamit Kaplan took place from January 8 to 11.
